Words That Help You Heal

IN TEN YEARS TIME

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years time

I’ll continue to rhyme

My writing will grow

As I continue to flow

My words, I’ll ponder

As this life, I’ll wander

Reminding my son

He’s my number one

Long after I leave this place

From the heavens, I’ll cherish his face

Never giving up my motherly role

Because he’s the other half of my soul

And from high up above

I’ll keep him wrapped in my love
