You can’t judge a book by its cover
Without reading a few pages

This life that we’re blessed with
Has many different stages

But not everyone is able to
Be an open book

Sometimes you have to take
More than just one look

People need to know that
They will always be offered grace

Maybe to unlock their spirit
They need to feel a warm embrace

Kindness really matters
And love is truly real

Always try to show people
How they make you feel

Remember to express yourself
With open honesty

Show them that this world
Is not just a novelty

Let’s all try harder
To spread love on this earth

Sometimes people need a reminder
Of what they’re really worth
